About New Contractor List
New Contractor List is a daily feed of newly licensed contractors in the United States, with a public page for each state, county, city and trade. A new contractor needs a lot in its first weeks, and this is how the companies that supply it find out it exists.
As of October 31, 2026, it holds 865,941 licenses, of which 5,252 are new in the last 30 days. Depth differs a great deal from state to state, and in several “states” we read a single city. The coverage table says exactly what each one holds.
Who it is for
US companies that sell to brand-new contractors: insurance agents, bonding companies, suppliers, software tools, accountants and lenders.
What you get
Every public page shows its latest licenses with contact details partly hidden, and a count of new licenses in the last 30 days. A plan opens the full feed: $29 a month for one state, or $99 a month for every state, with one-time CSV packs on the pricing page. The sample record shows the difference, using made-up details.
Where it comes from
The state’s licensing records, read daily. Phone and email come only from those records, and many states publish neither, so we leave them blank rather than fill them from anywhere else. How a license comes to count as new is on the methodology page.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or it is yours and you want it taken down, use the contact form or email support@newcontractorlist.com. A person reads every message.
What we are not
Not a government agency or a licensing board, and not affiliated with one. A license appearing here is not a recommendation of the contractor, and nothing here is legal advice. Anyone using the contact details is responsible for following the laws on calls, texts and email; the terms set out what that means.
